Friday November 1

Dear Parents,

This week, we are proud to make the rich and diverse learning experiences in the MS visible. Thank you to those of you who attended our Celebration of Learning on Wednesday. Students shared how they were able to connect to the Vision for a Learner from their Week Without Walls adventures. If you were not able to make the celebration, please ask you child to share with you their brief presentation. Feel free to inquire into what they learned from their experience. If you would like some prompts for this conversation, we used, “I liked…,” “I learned…,” and “I wonder….”

This evening you will receive an email with your child’s MAP results and the electronic version of the Mid-Semester Report. Please follow the links in the email to access text and video instructions for the report. A letter with explanation of the MAP results will accompany the email. Bravo for Shivers
Congratulations to the cast of Shivers and Ms. Rachel McCallum and her production team including Mr. Jason Kennedy and Ms. Rebekah Lopata. Thank you to our parents for your support of your children as they prepared over the past ten weeks to for the performances this week. Your support is instrumental in the success of our co-curricular programs. The cast delivered a frightfully fun production!

Early Release Day
On Wednesday November 6 we will have our an Early Release Wednesday. Students are expected to depart campus in a timely and organized fashion upon dismissal at 2:00 pm. We appreciate your patience with traffic on these days as all three sections are picking up students at the same time. In preparation, please plan on allowing longer time for entry and exit to the school at release time. For our Middle and High School students, hot lunch will be served. Please note that the iHub will be open to provide an air conditioned waiting space until 2:40 pm in case drivers are delayed. Food services in the iHub will close at 1:50 pm.

Have a great weekend!
