Dear Middle School Parents,
Next week, our first trimester will come to an end on Friday, 10 November. Please remind your children to turn in all the assignments in a timely manner. Once the trimester reports are ready, we will send out instructions on how to access them in PowerSchool.

MS SEVAI Day
Due to the rain, the local schools were closed and organizations we had planned on working with could not accommodate us. Therefore, we have postponed the day until Thursday, November 30.
Yearbook Pictures Ready
Yearbook pictures are ready for purchase. You may view the pictures via this link Yearbook Photos - 2017-18. (Password: raptors17). Please use this Yearbook Order Form to order pictures. Instructions are on the form. Please complete the form, make payment at the cash counter and submit the form at the respective section office. Last day for orders is 15 November 2017. Prints will be ready for pick up after 11 December 2017. If you have any questions about the ordering process, please contact the HS / MS office
Early Release Days
Just a reminder that next Wednesday, 8 November will be another early release day. These are all marked in the community calendar. Please take advantage of these days for doctor check-ups, dental visits or plan an activity with your children. Students are expected to depart campus in a timely and organized fashion. We appreciate your patience with traffic on these days. In preparation, please plan on allowing longer time for entry and exit to the school at release time.
After School Activity: Trimester 2
The ASA forms are sent home this weekend. If you have not received the forms, you can come to the Activities & Athletics office by the IHub to take a new one. Trimester 2 starts on November 20, 2017 until March 3, 2018. Kindly note that the ASAs will continue after we come back from the winter break.
Online Registration dates: November 10, 11 & 12
In-person Registration dates: November 13 & 14 in the ES Cafeteria from 8:30 am to 9:30 am

End of Trimester 1
Please note that Friday, 10 November is the last day of the first trimester. Check in with your children to ensure that all assignments are turned in by this date for teachers to grade them. If you have any questions, please write to the teachers.
Stanley Haas/Luke Hansen Award
Each year the Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NESA) provides an opportunity for Middle School students to apply for an award that recognizes students who model the character traits NESA values most in students: consistency, persistence, a willingness to take risks, acceptance of other cultures/points of view and a genuine interest in and commitment to the welfare of others. A direct email was sent to students with the application or see Ms. Jen Gold for more information.
If you feel that your child models these traits and they are interested in applying, please look at the application packet and return all the materials to Ms. Gold in the Counseling Office by Monday, November 20th.
