Dear Parents,
We are getting into the heart of the semester as we finish the second week of November. This weekend, many of our MS students are participating in CHEMUN, AISC’s Model United Nations Conference. You can learn more about CHEMUN here. We have a strong MS MUN program, thanks to our MUN advisors and a school-wide commitment to internationalism. Opportunities like MUN remind us of the importance of seeking common learning experiences, incorporating other perspectives and learning about global issues, all parts of our beliefs about internationalism.
Parent Coffee Tuesday November 12
This Tuesday we will have our monthly parent coffee. This month’s session will be hosted by Sherriden Masters, Director of Technologies and Innovation, and Jen Gold, our MS Counselor. Sherriden will present on interpreting MAP scores. Jen will share information on digital citizenship and how it is incorporated into our advisory program. Please join us from 8:45-9:45 in the Hall of Light Tuesday. You may want to bring a copy of your child’s MAP scores. MAP scores were sent last week via email to parents. See last week’s blog post for information on accessing your child’s scores.
