2019-2020 Calendar Change: March 23, 2020 Make-up School DayTo make-up for the additional Diwali Holiday we observed on Monday, October 28, the Board of Directors approved Monday, March 23, 2020 calendared as a Staff Professional Day as a full school day for students. We will continue to remind our community of this change in future Head’s Notes!

Fever: Reminder from the Health Suite
When your child is sent home with fever, please ensure they are fever free for 24 hours before returning to school to avoid spreading the infection.
Semester Reports for Withdrawing Students Report cards for Semester 1 will be distributed on January 23, 2020. Families who are withdrawing students at the end of December will receive the Semester 1 Report Cards by email. If you require a paper copy of the report, please send a family friend or office representative to collect it from middle school office any day after January 23.
Academic Support
Students seeking academic support have a variety of options. Listed below are supports available to MS students.
Homework Club: The second session of homework club starts December 5. To find out more about homework club, days and times, download this form. Sign up by returning this form to Ms. Margaret in the counseling office.
Raptor’s Clause: The middle school has a program specifically for writing support. Mr. James Smeltzer is available at times during lunch and after school to help individual students with writing for class assignments and projects. Students are able to sign up for a time slot via link on the student daily bulletin.
HS peer tutors: High school peer tutors are also available for short term, long term, group sessions or special projects. Information about HS peer tutors can also be found under “Repeat Information” in the student daily bulletin. You can sign up for peer tutoring through this form.
